Nothing much to say, just lil bit about barley...
and of course its about food, not bob marley *(^_^)V (maybe in next entry - his songs)...

Perfect dessert for family and good for kids as well..
Barley
*was among the earliest cultivated grains in middle east possibly originated from Egypt, Etihopia, (Middle East) then across the other countries (Korean, china etc).
Barley can be a perfect dessert as porridge or soup or barley bread. For industrial purposes, people used to make beer from barley.
Importance of barley;
In general;
Barley's grain can reduce the cholesterol level and promote intestinal protection. Have potential effect in lowering the diabetic effects.
How to prepare (soup);
1) Before cooking barley, rinse it thoroughly under running water (remove any debris)/
2) After rinsing , add almost one part of barley to half parts of boiling water.
3) After the liquid has returned to a boil, turn down the heat, cover & simmer.(35-45mins)
4) Add in coconut milk, and screwpine leaves, and sugar to sweeten the broth, (10 mins). and ready to be served.
Resipi membuat bubur barli.
1) Bersihkan biji barli dengan air. Kemudian, sejatkan dan masukkan ke dalam periuk.
2) Rebuskan barli dengan cara (1 bahagian barli= 3 bahagian air) sehingga mendidih (biji barli masak atau kembang).
3) Kemudian, perlahankan api, masukkan santan (terpulang ikut kepekatan masing2) dan, daun pandan yang telah disimpulkan. Tambahkan gula (ikut citarasa masing2) dan secubit garam sebagai penambah perisa.
4) Masakkan lebih kurang 10 min lagi sambil (gaul dengan sebati) , jgn sampai santan mendidih dan sedia untuk dihidangkan.
